The painting at right, "Fields and Distant Light" is a 20x30" oil on stretched canvas which is still drying in my studio. I plan to frame it in a massive traditional gold frame. It will probably be consigned to one of the fine art galleries that represent me and exhibit my work. It will be priced in the $2600-3000range, as framed.
I also show my work by appointment at my studio, which is about 2 hours north of the NYC metro area and a few hours or less from most points in New England, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The drive to my studio in this beautiful country gets nicer with each week that passes, at this time of the year. I would consider a payment plan/fair offer from a sincere collector.
As I paint in a series of glazes, the depth of my finished paintings does not show to its best advantage in any digital photo. If you purchase a work from a digital Internet photo, you can return it within 30 days if you are not delighted. Most people feel they look a lot better in actuality.
Some of the galleries that are exhibiting my work at present are the Driftwood Gallery, Peekskill, NY; The Lionheart Gallery, Pound Ridge, NY; Green (Gallery), Saugerties, NY; Kaaterskill Fine arts, Hunter, NY; and Berkshire Art Gallery, Great Barrington, Mass. Please contact me for addresses and hours of these galleries.
Well, the almost-April showers of the morning are clearing up and I am off to paint today! I hope all of you enjoy this day and this week.
Best,
Ellen
