Paintings at the Marketplace Cafe, Village of Oak Creek, Sedona AZ

Hello, art lovers and blog readers!   This is Ellen Perantoni again, painter of the landscape in oil in a manner inspired by the Hudson River School landscape painters..  I've been doing this blog since 2007 and it features art, art chat and purchase info.

As most of you know, I now have my home and studio in the fabulous red rock country of Sedona AZ.   Next to Sedona nestles the Village of Oak Creek,  with the Marketplace Cafe a mecca for art, dining and entertainment.   Now a group of my paintings are an ongoing exhibit on the walls of the MPC, as pictured above.  Bev Copen curates the art at MPC and her e-mail address is beverlycopen@gmail.com      My e-mail address is eperantoni@yahoo.com

You can stop in any day at the marketplace and purchase my art directly from the nice people there.  I will rotate the works on exhibit from time to time.  15% of the price of each piece sold will go the charity.

The Marketplace Cafe is in a shopping plaza at the corner of State Route 179 and Jacks Canyon Road.   There is alfresco dining so you can enjoy the usually-beautiful weather of the region.  Sedona and the MPC are well worth a visit, if you haven't been here yet.  Perhaps I will see you,  and we will meet.

Have a great week!

Best, Ellen

Ellen Perantoni Snow Scenes in Oil with PayPal Links:

......and I have just a few snow paintings available in time to greet the first snowfalls in most parts of the USA and other temperate regions.  These are hushed scenes of pristine snowfalls on pines, fields and hillsides, all in moonlight.

Hello!  I am Ellen Perantoni, painter of the landscape in oil in a manner inspired by the nineteenth century Hudson River School of art,  and such masters as Albert Bierstadt and Frederick Church.  It is a lesser known fact that Church's most successful painting was not a Hudson Valley scene, but the panoramic "Icebergs".

My winter scenes here are more intimate,  and their framed sizes range from about 12" by 14" on the wall, to about 20" by 32".  I could frame them differently, or sell them unframed if collectors request.

The first panoramic scene is on 12x24" stretched canvas in a wide tarnished gold wood frame that brings its framed size to 21x33" on the wall.   It is entitled "Rising Moon on the Pond."  You can now pruchase it with PayPal for $1685. icnluding FREE SHIPPING wihtin the USA.  To purchase it with PayPal click on this link to go to PayPal checkout:
https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=6Q6WX3AKTCBQ2
Due to features of this Blogspot site  you do not see the PayPal button but this link does the same thing.  On the PayaPal page fill in your e-mail address and PayPal password.

If you don't have a PayPal account and would like to open one, go to www.PayPal.com  or e-mail me with questions at epreantoni@yahoo.com
.
I also accept checks and money orders on USA-based banks.  If you are not delighted with any painting you purchase from me from an internet photo you can return it within 30 days for a refund.

The second painting from the top,in the oval frame, has been sold to a collector.   My winter scenes generally sell fast, especially as winter approaches.  It is now August 2, 2015 and at this time the other snow scenes in this post are still available.

The third painting from the top, the square one, is entitled "Snow on the Path" and is on a hand stretched 9x9" canvas.  In its wide gold wood frame it is about 16x16" on the wall.    It is priced $495. including FREE shipping within the USA.  To purchase it with PayPal click on this link:

The fourth painting from the top is on a 5x7" stretched canvas in a heavy hardwood frame that brings the painting to about 11-1/2 x 13-1/3" on the wall.   It is entitled "Stillness in Winter" and is priced $260.00 including FREE shipping within the USA.  To purchase this work click on this PayPal link to go to PayPal checkout:

The fifth painting (which would look great displayed with the5x7" painting just above) is entitled
"Woodland Snow Study".  It is on a 5x7" stretched canvas in a heavy hardwood frame which brings it to about 11-1/2 x13-1/2 inches on the wall.   It is priced $260. including FREE shipping within the USA.  This is the PayPal link to purchase this painting:

I have many references from satisfied collelctors who have bought  my work form the Internet.  I will pleased to answer any questions.  This blog goes back to 2007 and consists of many ofter posts and art images.   I am adding PayPal links to the available painting posts one by one;  if you see a painting that does nto have a link yet let me know and I will add one.

View Along Back O' Beyond Road, Sedona and PayPal Link:

Hello, art lovers and blog readers!  This is Ellen Perantoni again,  painter of the landscape in oil, posting another recent painting that is now drying in my studio here in Sedona AZ.   The primary inspiration for my art is the Hudson River School with its attention to detail and  the emotive power of the landscape.  Not all Hudson River School paintings were of the Hudson Valley -- Albert Bierstadt is mostly noted for his paintings of the American West, as is Thomas Moran.   This blog is a collection of art images, art chat and purchase info, and I've been posting here since 2007.  My e-mail address is eperantoni@yahoo.com and more art images can be seen on www.artwanted.com/EllenPerantoni

This painting is 10x20" and is executed on 1-1/2" thick stretched canvas with no nails or staples on the sides, and the painting is continued onto the sides so it stands out from the wall and has a more three-dimensional effect.  The painting is priced at $900.  including FREE shipping within the USA.  You can purchase it with PayPal if you wish. Here is the link to PayPal Checkout to purchase this painting at $900. including FREE shipping.  You will get all PayPal benefits.  Enter your e-mail address and PayPal password in teh appropriate boxes on the checkout form.

Or, I will be happy to show it here at Back O' Beyond Studio by appointment.   Sedona is a fabulous and unique scenic place and you will love visiting here if you haven't already.

If you purchase a painting from an Internet photo without first seeing the painting,  you can return it for a refund within 30 days if you are not delighted.  Most people feel my paintings look better in actuality.

Sunset Silhouettes with PayPal Links -- They Are Going Fast!

Hello, art lovers and blog readers!  This is Ellen Perantoni again,  painter of the landscape in oil, and today I am focusing on the dramatic appearances of  trees against a sunset.  The above paintings are small in size, mostly 11-1/2x13-1/2" on the wall in the museum quality wood frames pictured here.  When the sun is behind an object as it sets, the horizontal rays create the illusion of deliciously intense darks against the fiery clouds.  This is so much fun to paint!  I like these together as a group even more than  individually.  You can see more of my art on  www.artwanted.com/EllenPerantoni  and my e-mail address is   eperantoni@yahoo.com

Two of the above paintings are still available, and still in my studio.

The painting at the top has been sold to a collector.

The second painting form the top is on 8x10"stretched canvas,  in a museum quality heavy hardwood frame  that brings it to about 15x17" on the wall.   It is entitled Evening Glow.  This painting as framed is priced at $495. including FREE shipping within the USA.   To purchase Evening Glow  with PAYPAL click on this link:

https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=SUK3JGMLS8524

The third painting from the top has been sold to a collector, and so has the fourth painitng, the one in the oval frame.

These sunset silhouettes are immensely popular and they tend to sell fast.  So only two of these 5 paintings in the photos are available at this time, August 4, 2015.

The fifth painting, the one at the bottom,  is a 5x7" oil on canvas in a museum quality hardwood frame that brings it to about 11-1/2 x 13-1/2 inches on the wall.  It is entitled Study For Peace At The Bend.   It is priced $260. including FREE shipping within the USA.  To purchase this work with PayPal click  this link to go to PayPal Checkout, then enter your e-mail address and your PayPal password:
 https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=TQ236FD3P3E3C

I also accept checks and money orders on USA based banks.  E-mail me for my mailing address.  You are welcome to see the paintings before purchase if you like,.  My home and studio are in Sedona AZ , about 100 miles from Phoenix AZ and 140 miles or so from Las Vegas.   I show my art here at Back O' Beyond Studio and Gallery.   Please contact me for appointment and directions.

If you order a painting from an internet photo without first seeing the original,  you can return it within 30 days for a refund if you are not delighted.    Most people feel my art looks better in actuality, deeper and more detailed.

Back O'Beyond Studio, Sedona -- New Home of My Art:

Hello, art lovers and blog readers!   Thsi is Ellen Perantoni again, painter of the landscape in oil.   Almost 6 months ago, I relocated home and studio to Sedona AZ,  location of the world famous red rocks -- "Like living in the Grand Canyon"  is the way one of my neighbors describes it.  And this is what I've been painting.  The panoramic painting to the right of my head in this photo is a view from the gallery part of my studio, where I am sitting on a corner bench that came with the space.   I paint the landscape in oil in a manner honoring the Hudson River School tradition, and now the bright colors, strong light and rugged shapes of Sedona are working their own spells upon my art.

The address is 141 Back O' Beyond Circle, Sedona AZ 86336.   The short drive to the Gallery from
the main road is simply spectacular,  as it passes closely by world famous Cathedral Rock.  You will enjoy the short drive and it will put you in the mood to enjoy the art.   Just turn onto Back O'Beyond Road from Rt. 179 and drive until the Road becomes Back O'Beyond Circle.

You can see more of my art on www.artwanted.com/EllenPerantoni  and my e-mail address is eperantoni@yahoo.com

The paintings in the above photo range from $450 to $1500. as framed..  The studio  has some oil studies and limited edition prints.  Prices start about $50. for unframed prints on paper and go up to $4000. for large oil  panoramas.  Some of my newer paintings are on 1-1/2" thick canvas with the painting continued onto the sides, so they do not have to be framed if you do not want frames..

If you cannot come to the studio, please browse the other posts on this blog, which goes back to 2007.  I will ship any of the works in the blogs -- those that are not already sold -- and if you order a painting from an internet photo without first seeing the painting you can return it for a refund within 30 days if you are not delighted.

Most people think my art looks better in actuality, because digital photos do not capture their true depth and detail.  .

There is a somber note in all this joy and beauty, however.   Today the "Slide Fire"  still rages 18 miles to the north of this paradise, in irreplaceable Oak Creek Canyon.  I have been there many times, and in fact started a painting of the canyon about 2 weeks ago.   I hope much of its beauty will remain untouched and that the 1000+ brave firefighters will soon have the Slide Fire out..  They expect 23,000 acres of canyon forest will be consumed before this can be done.

Fortunately,  there has been no loss f life or property from the fire and I pray that does not change. I will continue to celebrate the beauty of Oak Creek Canyon with my landscape art.   The most accessible parts of the canyon are being saved by over 1000 firefighters.

Enjoy the blog -- click on "Older Posts" to read posts going back to 2007.  And when you go camping or picnicking this summer --please be careful with your campfires.

I would love to hear from you.

Best, Ellen
