Cattle Drinking by Meadow

Hello. I am Ellen Perantoni, painter of the landscape in oil in a manner inspired by the Hudson River School and the Barbizon School. I live and paint in the Hudson Valley, about 90 miles north of the NYC metro area.
These blog posts contain art images, art chat, and purchase information. My e-mail address is and more art images can be seen on
My paintings can also be viewed in several fine galleries that represent me throughout the region.
These include The Lionheart Gallery, Pound Ridge, NY; The Driftwood Gallery, Peekskill, NY; The Chisholm Gallery, Pine Plains, NY; Arlington Art Gallery, Poughkeepsie, NY; Berkshire Art Gallery Great Barrington, Berkshire Co., Mass. Addresses of these galleries are given in other blog posts, or please contact me for their addresses and contact info.
The painting at right, "Cattle Drinking by Meadow", is a 14x18" oil on canvas. It was inspired by the pastoral vistas and magnificently changeable sky of summer in the the Hudson Valley region.
This painting may be purchased from my studio in a complementary gold frame for $1150. Payment plans and/or reasonable offers from sincere collectors will be considered.
You may view my art at my studio by appointment. I am about 2 hours from the NYC metro area, 1 hour from Albany, NY; 4 hours from Boston, Mass.
If you purchase a painting directly from this blog without seeing the original, you may return it within 30 days in good condition for a refund if the actual painting does not delight you.
Most people feel the depth and quality of my art, in the traditional sense, exceeds that which can be conveyed by digital photos.
I accept PayPal and funds drawn on USA-based banks. I pack well and ship insured by USPS, FedEx and DHL.
I hope you will read more of my blog posts--to see more click on "Older Posts" at the bottom of this web page.
I am happy to answer questions and would love to hear from you.
Have a great week!
