Immensity in Sedona with PayPal Link:

Hello art lovers, friends and blog readers!  This is Ellen Perantoni again, painter of the landscape in oil in a manner inspired by the Hudson River School painters of the nineteenth century.  Now painting the wonderful red rock landscape of Sedona AZ.   In this harmony of color in the clear air I also endeavor to find a bit of mystery.   The view in this painting is part reality and part imagination as I paint a panorama that extends further than the eye can see.  It is currently drying in my studio.  More of my art can be seen on www.artwanted.com/EllenPerantoni and my e-mail address is eperantoni@yahoo.com

This work is executed on a stretched canvas 12x36" which is 1-1/2" thick, with the view continued onto the sides of the canvas.   It seems to float off the wall directly at the viewer.  This is partly because of the view on the sides  and partly because of the in-depth style in which I paint.   It is priced at $1200.

Anthropomorphism in Sedona, with PayPal Links::

Happy New Year, friends, collectors, all!   This is Ellen Perantoi, painter of the landscape in a manner inspired by the Hudson River School of the nineteenth century, unsurpassed in its reverence for natural beauty.   Now that my home and studio are in the red rock country of Sedona AZ,  I've acquired the local penchant for naming extraordinary rock formations after human and animal forms.   I see the above formations daily on the road from my home into town:  a "face" with an open "mouth" that reminds me of a seventies crooner with lots of hair,, and a frog's face peeking out from the bushes at the crest of a ridge.  These have inspired the two oil paintings above:  "Rock Face along Back O' Beyond Road" and "Frog on Back O'Beyond Road.".

Both paintings are currently in my studio, just dried and framed.  My e-mail address is eperantoni@yahoo.com  and you can view more of my art on www.artwanted.com/EllenPerantoni

The "Rock Face" painting is on 12x16" stretched canvas, framed in a tarnished gold wide wood frame as above.  The frame brings it to about 20x24" on the wall.  It is priced $950.  and you can now pay for it, including FREE shipping , with PayPal.  To purchase this work click this link to go to PayPal Checkout:

.   The smaller "Frog on Back O' Beyond Road" painting is on 10x10" stretched canvas and is about 12x12" as framed, on the wall.  It is priced $475. including free shipping within the USA.  To purchase with PayPal click this link:

If you purchase a painting from a digital Internet photo without first seeing the original, you can return it for a refund within 30 days if you are less than delighted.  Most people think my paintings look a lot better than the photos, with more depth and detail.
