Cathederal Rock Verso

Hello again, art lovers and blog readers!   This is Ellen Perantoni, painter of the landscape in oil, inspired by the Hudson River School masters of the nineteenth century.    I am settling my home and studio into Sedona AZ. now,  and joyfully indulging my love of color and fabulous light by painting the Sedona red rocks.  I am treated to this particular fabulous view almost every day as I drive to and from my new home.  The massive face of Cathedral Rock is world famous, as well, for its feature of a group of tiny spires that resembles the universal peace sign. You can see more of my art, including views of Cathedral Rock from other angles,  at www.artwanted.com/EllenPerantoni  and my e-mail address is eperantoni@yahoo.com

The above view is still drying in my studio here in Sedona.   It is executed on a 16x20" stretched canvas framed as you see in a wide tarnished gold frame that brings the size on the wall to about 24x28".  It is priced $1900.

Collectors and friends are welcome to view my art in my studio by appointment.   If you purchase a work of art from a digital Internet image you can return it for refund within 30 days if you are not delighted.  Most people feel my work looks better in actuality, with details and depth that cannot be appreciated from digital dot-matrix photographs.

I hope you will enjoy this blog, with posts going back to 2007 and also including many images of Hudson Valley region paintings I did when I was living in that region.   To view earlier blog pages click on "Older Posts" at the bottom of this page.

Have fun!  I would love to hear from you.   Ellen
