The Vista from Olana

Hello friends, art lovers and blog readers!  This is Ellen Perantoni, AskArt listed painter of the landscape in oil, with a new painting of an all time favorite view:  the view of the Hudson River from Frederick Church's Olana in he fall.   The flowing lines of the river and the tapestry of brilliant fall colors is incomparable;  master painter Church chose this site for his home Olana because he believed it is the best view in the world.  I have painted this view dozens of times, at all seasons , daytime and night. More of my Olana paintings, as well as other views, can be seen online also at Perantoin, and my e-mail address is

This painting, as framed, is currently in my studio. it is on 11x14"  stretched canvas framed in a wide tarnished gold frame, which brings it to about 17x21" on the wall.   It is priced at $895. as framed, and I accept PayPal and payment instruments drawn on USA based banks.  Shipping within the USA is included.

If an internet purchaser is less than delighted with the painting,  it is returnable for refund, less shipping cost, within 30 days.  Due to the detailed glazing and layering techinques i use, msot people feel my actual paintings look better than the dit matrix photos on the net.

If anyone would like to see this painting, and my other available works, before purchase I am happy to show them at my studio, now in Sedona , Arizona.  The unique red rock country here is well worth a visit.
