Catskills Through the Arch, with Waterfall

Hello, art lovers and blog viewers! Can hardly believe I'm posting again after three days when I am usually so slow to post new work.
But when I play catch-up, I don't fool around-- even though the weather is great aned it's a delightful time to fool around!
I am Ellen Perantoni, painter of the landscape in oil, inspired by the Hudson River School, Barbizon School and other landscapes by the immortal masters of yesteryear.
My e-mail address is eperantoni@yahoo.com
and more of my work can be viewed on www.artwanted.com/EllenPerantoni
I live and paint in the Hudson Valley amid the same beauty that inspired earlier Hudson River School paintings. This view shows part of the incredible Kaaterskill Falls cataract and gives a peek at the view beyond.
This oil is on 12x16" stretched canvas and will be at my studio tour and sale August 8-9, 2009 from 10 to 6 Saturday and Sunday.
If you can come and spend a relaxing weekend in the gorgeous Catskill Mountains, please let me know and I will send you a tour map to my studio--and also 31 more studios in town that will be open the same weekend.
See www.saugertiesarttour.com for full info on the tour weekend.
My work is also at several fine galleries that represent me; see other blog posts for the gallery nearest you.
If you are interested in purchasing a work from my blog please let me know--
if you purchase one of my art works from an Internet photo you can return the painting within 30 days if you are not delighted.
Well, I'm off to enjoy the rest of this lovely summer day, painting.
Hope to hear from you or meet you at my studio.
All the best, Ellen
